Job Description

Steadicopter is seeking a highly skilled Engineer to join our R&D Mechanical Team. · End-to-End Product Lifecycle: Take ownership of the mechanical design and development of RUAV systems and components, owning the entire process from initial concept/sketch through prototyping to serial production. · Multidisciplinary Integration: Collaborate closely with electronics, software, and payload teams to integrate complex subsystems, sensors, and payloads onto the aerial platform. · Rapid Prototyping: Drive the rapid prototyping phase by manufacturing and assembling prototypes using advanced 3D printing technologies (FDM, Composite materials). · Manufacturing & Vendor Management: Interface directly with local and international vendors, machine shops, and suppliers to expedite component manufacturing under tight schedules. · Hands-on Assembly & Integration: Participate actively in the mechanical assembly, integration, and qualification testing of components. · Fast-Paced Troubleshooting: Provide rapid technical solutions (troubleshooting) for mechanical failures or optimization needs arising on the assembly line and during field flight tests. Requirements · Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering or 4th year (able to work at least 3-4 days a week) · Exceptional Engineering Capabilities: Strong analytical skills and a high level of technical competence in solving engineering problems. · CAD Skills: Strong, proven proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling, assembly design, and drawing creation). (Advantage) · Hands-on Technical Background: A strong passion for practical engineering—demonstrated through military technical service, hands-on work experience, or technical hobbies (e.g., building drones, RC planes, working on cars, or DIY projects). (Advantage) · Meticulous Attention to Detail: A precise mindset with the ability to think through every small detail of a design, from tolerances to environmental factors. · Rapid Self-Learner: Outstanding self-learning capabilities, with the ability to quickly master new technologies, tools, and methodologies independently.
