Mechanical Devices is a technology company providing thermal testing solutions for the semiconductor industry . These systems we are manufacturing are used for chip testing, validation, failure analysis, and quality assurance in semiconductor manufacturing. We are looking for a motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our team and provide high-quality customer support. This is an office-based position in Haifa (Hutzot HaMifratz), an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy solving technical issues, working in a dynamic environment, and communicating effectively with users of various technical backgrounds. RESPONSIBILITIES Identifies, investigates, and resolves users' problems with computer software and hardware. Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users. Replacement of parts and hardware repair onsite. Guides users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and software and/or following verbal instructions. Collaborates with other staff to research and resolve problems. Arranges service to repair or replace defective products. Takes actions to resolve services cases on assigned territory REQUIREMENTS Travel ready (Ability to travel at least 25% of the time to customer events) Excellent communication skills and customer orientation. Ability to explain technical matters to both technical and non-technical users. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to quickly learn TCU hardware and software solutions. Higher technical education ( advantage ). Experience in technical support (strong advantage). English — professional proficiency. Valid driver’s license. Ability to work under stress and multitask. Proactive approach to using internal and external resources to solve problem
